SYMPHONY No 2 (Of the Good and Innocent Folk)

Kalomiris was working on a revision of the first movement of his 2nd symphony when he died in 1962. This symphony was played once in 1935 and remained effectively unknown until 1986 when it was presented in the Athens Festival and recorded by the Bulgarian RTV Orchestra and Chorus under Fidetzis.
It is unpublished but photocopies of the full score and of the piano score for the third movement (an orchestral song) can be obtained through the Manolis Kalomiris Society.
